With out a shadow of a doubt, one of the most extraordinary dining experiences I have ever had!
This dinner was sensational, a game of flavors and textures playing and dancing on your palate. We took the Chef tasting menu of six courses along with wine paring. As one member of our party members does not eat sea food and liver, the menu was suited for him and two of the courses were replaced with others not on the menu which indicates great service, flexibility and originality. Every course was delightful and served with complementing local wine with honors to the origin region. Service and staff were wonderful and welcoming led by Chef Tommaso Arrigoni himself.
As above mentioned, an amazing night in an amazing place!
First off: DO NOT recommend this place, this restaurant doesn’t worth a star.
It’s our 6th Michelin star restaurant we have visited this year, by far the worst experience.
Overall:
It was my friend birthday, I’ve called and send email few days in advance asking if they could provide a candle or write “happy birthday” on the desert as a surprise. No respond.
Wine pairing:
When we arrived, the lady was very arrogant
and cold, we took the 6 courses but she said there will be no wine pairing options, she recommended 2 bottles, 1 red and 1 white, the white was good, the red was “produce by the chef?” It was bad, beyond bad.
It’s very rare when you go to a star restaurant ordering a menu but don’t present a wine pairing for you. To me this is just pure laziness.
The food:
overall it’s too heavy, too much cream, the risotto was way way way undercook, I know what al dente means, but it’s raw! I can’t even finished it.
The plating was awful as you can see in the pictures, the sauce, the taste the balance, everything were just off.
The service:
The waiters are always in a rush of taking your plate, without even asking, are you satisfied? How’s the food? Never once asked. As said the “women manager” was very rude and arrogant.
The atmosphere:
Overall nice, hidden restaurant in a not so nice neighborhood, but the decoration and the garden were nice.
Summary:
I was fooled by the Michelin website, coming with hope and excellent experience, but leaving with huge disappointment. The pictures on the website were stunning and impressive, interesting and mouth watering. But this is a scam after all. You can have much better choices in Milan.
Do I recommend: definitely NO
Will I come back: NO
Satisfied: NO
Value: so-so
An Awesome Experience!
We visited this incredible restaurant July.
What an awesome experience!
Chef Tommaso and the staff were just incredible. Prior to coming here, we were at Paris for one week, sampling the finest Michelins, but
Innocenti Evasioni is class by itself.
Thank you chef Tommaso, and can't wait til our next visit.
We came here to celebrate my wife's birthday and it was a night to remember. Good value restaurant. Great food, right price, everything is good👍🏻
Nice service. Excellent présentation. Refined food. A very nice list of wines
Loved it. The place is so nice and service is top. Dishes are very tasty and very good looking. The list of wines is great.
Its a really nice restaurant with excellent servis and very good vine list. The somelie is a very helpful and make a really good wine pairing.
Ridiculous place. I took a degustation set, but it was nothing to eat. It’s not one Michelin star restaurant, even not closed to it. The only thing I liked was how they serve the bread. There are a lot of places in Milan, which are much better..
